34th Euros Qualification
Well, despite my best attempts not to qualify for the semi-final of the European Champs I'm pleased to say I did in fact make it through. I was in 17th place after first runs with what I thought was a pretty poor run. My second run was a damn sight better, much more like how I normally paddle, except for a 4 gate section where I managed to hit every single gate in the sequence - quite an achievement!
Despite this little hiccup I was still quick enough to qualify, although for the semis and teams i'll certainly be looking to go clean.
Winner of qualification was Sebastien Combot, with Campbell second, and Jure Meglic third. Rich finished 5th, having led after first runs.
On another positive, everyone in the British team successfully made it through qualifying!
