Tryweryn Prem Race
Well I'm not altogether too sure where I finished, although I do know it's somewhere near the bottom! To cut the story short, I was having a pretty good second run, right up to the penultimate breakout where my confidence then got the better of me, and I forgot the first rule of Bala - don't go tight into breakouts and stick the tail down!
To see what happens click here and scroll along to 6mins 30ish seconds. If you're unsure as to why that made me finish close to last, I had, to un-stick myself, paddle back through the gateline so incurring a 50 second penalty. Oh how I smiled.....
Despte this 'minor' hiccup, I was actually pretty pleased with my performance (obviously not the result!). Bala isn't a favourite site of mine, and so to put down a couple of runs which were generally competitive (except for said hiccup) was something I was pleased about.
