Race 1 - 3rd
Third in the first race of the three race series was a pretty solid start to my selection campaign. The first run didn't quite go to plan, however, with me dropping very low on the high up left 2/3rds of the way down the course.
Consequently I was quite a bit back on the leaders and in fifth place, but I knew a run similar to my first without the costly time error should hopefully move me back up the field.
As it was I was able to deliver such a run, going 4 seconds quicker, and staying clean in the process helped lift me up to third - and a result I'd have certainly settled for after first runs!
