Heavy rainfall in the UK has resulted in me being in Krakow once again for a slightly spur of the moment training camp. With what must be the wettest June/July on record the slalom course finally had to close due to high water levels making it unsafe to use. This meant I had no where to train (apart from flat water), and so, after being told by the Marshall (C2) brothers of a training camp that they had organised to Krakow I decided to go along.
I'm pleased to announce the weather in Krakow, whilst cloudy, has been considerably drier than home. Hopefully, the course will have re-opened by the time I get back on Friday.
On another note, I finally had the chance to ride in what must be a contender for the World's smallest car. According to Andre, our Polish coach, somebody was once pulled in by the police for having 10 people in this type of car. How they did it I cannot even begin to imagine, it was a very tight squeeze with only 5 of us in.....
