A 50 second penalty, and too many touches on the first run put us out of contention for the medals. Even with a couple of line errors our running time was actually pretty decent, and we thought for the second run we'd at least have a bash at the quickest run time of the day. Maybe we were trying too hard, either way, a couple of near collisions and more penalties (including a 50 for me necking a gate) resulted in us having a slightly slower second run time.
Roll on the semi's/finals tomorrow......
